Summary: We are upgrading the virtualization architecture across our entire fleet to standardise high-performance settings for all clients.

Details: In 5 hours, we will begin rolling out a configuration update to switch the CPU models from

    kvm64

    to

    Host-Passthrough

on all nodes. This change eliminates emulation overhead and exposes advanced instruction sets (AVX2, AVX-512, AES-NI) directly to your VPS, unlocking maximum hardware performance for everyone.

    Impact:

    • Scope: All VPS instances (Budget & Premium) running on legacy configuration.

    • Action: A quick system reboot is required to apply the new CPU flags.

    • Downtime: Expected unavailability is less than 1 minute per instance.

We are committed to providing the best possible performance for every service hosted with VoxiHost.
